I have extensive experience working with multiculturally diverse children, adolescents, and adults from across the socioeconomic spectrum, who are facing a myriad of mental health challenges. As an integrative therapist with a strong foundation in attachment theory, I offer an individualized, holistic approach that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic frameworks that are best suited to your unique needs. By working collaboratively to build a strong and trusting therapeutic alliance, we create a safe environment for you to express yourself authentically. Together, we engage in a strengths-based, solution-oriented approach to explore your mental, physical, and emotional health from a whole-body perspective, so we can better understand the source of your anxiety, unhappiness, discomfort, or unhealthy behavior patterns. In this way, we pursue a more flexible and inclusive approach to therapy, utilizing the interventions that are most effective for you, in a partnership where you help guide the course of your treatment.
My previous clinical experiences include: Counseling 4 Kids community mental health clinic, the Crisis Text Line, the Zendo Project, and Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC) schools, including Lakeview Charter Academy (LCA), Community Charter Middle School (CCMS), and Community Charter Early College High School (CCECHS). Through working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers, I have developed an area of specialization in helping individuals and families address issues related to video gaming, digital devices, social media and digital media, and other issues endemic to the digital revolution.
Goals:
