More about
Ms. Martinez is part of the Latinx community and has a background working with non-profit organizations, school settings, as well as in Civil Forensic Psychology, conducting psychological assessments, and evaluations. After obtaining experience with diverse populations, she has worked in eating disorder treatment centers at all levels of care (inpatient, RTC, and PHP/IOP) where she then oversaw one of the RTC programs. She has experience working with marginalized voices, BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities. She approaches therapy from a trauma-informed, holistic, and culturally sensitive perspective: focusing on genuineness, empathy, compassion, by helping individuals connect to their bodies, mind, and emotions.
