More About
Jennifer Hong has extensive experience with a multiculturally diverse population.
Her clinical experiences include working in non-profit agencies, elementary/middle schools, and providing therapy services to diverse populations with an emphasis on depression, anxiety, cultural identity, adjustment, trauma, and environmental-related stressors. In addition, she is passionate about working with loss/grief, self-esteem issues, life transitions, women’s issues, creatives/highly sensitive persons and gifted individuals, and sexuality. She values the importance of sensitivity to client’s needs and strives to create a safe space to further encourage clients to overcome oppressive narratives.
She promotes building a nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship through providing a warm and gentle space for clients to process unfiltered emotions, and strongly believes that our innate, inner wisdom can be unveiled through reflective conversations and processes that can facilitate growth and change.
