I began my medical career in Romania in 1984 as a family practitioner. I immigrated to the U.S. in 1993 and worked in adoption and foster care for more than 15 years as a counselor helping children and families navigate the very emotional and challenging process of building safe and healthy families for orphaned children. I directed programs dedicated to abandonment issues in orphaned children, early childhood therapy and worked in a variety of inpatient a well as outpatient settings that included Psychiatric State Hospitals, Prison, Teenage rehabilitation programs, and Women rehabilitation programs. I also have extensive experience working with Native American clients and LGBTQ and Transgender clients. I mainly worked in community mental health clinics, schools, and private practice. I am very passionate about helping people improve their lifestyles and reverse chronic diseases through education and treatments that do not require medication.
Goals:
Improving people’s quality of life and reversing chronic diseases by using evidence-based approaches that do not use medication.
Supporting people in finding their motivation to change and reach mental health, emotional and physical health independence.
Assisting people in identifying their strengths and developing new healthy coping and problem-solving skills.
