Vanessa believes that every person is the author of their own life. The question she has for you is what do you want your life to be about? Sometimes, unforeseen experiences and struggles take peace, joy, and self-agency away, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. Vanessa collaborates with her clients to heal and clear what no longer serves them and cultivate something more beneficial in its place.
Vanessa’s clinical experience encompasses working with children, teens, couples, and adults in community mental health and non-profit organizations. As a woman of color, Vanessa understands the need for people to work with professionals who have had similar life experiences in order to fully understand what they and their communities are going through (and she can also discuss it in Spanish with you if you’d like). She feels passionately about being an ally to those struggling with the current state of the world and deconstructing systemic issues that may be impacting them.
