This year marks a meaningful milestone for all of us at New U Therapy Center & Family Services: 10 years of caring for our community.
Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of individuals, families, and children as they navigated their mental health journeys. We’ve witnessed quiet breakthroughs, courageous first steps, hard conversations, and moments of real relief. Healing is rarely linear, but every step forward matters—and it has been an honor to be part of those moments.
As we reflect on the last 10 years, we’re deeply aware that growth doesn’t come without challenge. Along the way, we’ve learned from obstacles, adapted to an ever-changing mental health landscape, and embraced new ways of supporting those we serve. Each challenge has shaped us, strengthening our commitment to thoughtful, compassionate, and whole-person care.
Today, New U supports our community through approximately 5,000 appointments each month. While that number reflects our growth, what matters most to us is how we grow. We’ve focused on deepening the quality of care we provide—meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and creating space for meaningful healing.
A significant part of that growth is our continued expansion into integrative and quantum healing approaches, which honor the connection between mind, body, and nervous system. These approaches allow us to look beyond symptoms alone and support healing at a deeper level—helping patients build resilience, regulation, and long-term wellbeing.
We’re also proud to share the opening of our new Torrance location, expanding access to care for more individuals and families in the South Bay community. This space reflects our vision for the future: calm, supportive, and rooted in innovative mental health care that blends evidence-based therapy with holistic healing practices.
