Agavni is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing individual and group psychotherapy across university counseling services, nonprofits, and substance use treatment settings. She has worked with culturally diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, couples, and individuals navigating life transitions, grief, relational issues, trauma, anxiety, recovery from substance use, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Her clinical experience includes conducting comprehensive intakes, administering and interpreting standardized assessments (including PHQ-9, GAD-7, and BAM-R), developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating group therapy in residential and outpatient recovery programs. Agavni also brings a background as an Applied Behavioral Technician, supporting children and families through behavioral interventions.
She is especially attuned to the role of trauma, attachment patterns, relational issues, and underlying emotional processes that contribute to current distress, and she values creating a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic space.
