Russell has experience working with those who have been victims of severe trauma and are in a mental health crisis. He also has experience working with those who struggle with gender identity and those whose sexuality causes difficulties in relationships or the authentic expression of self. Russell has worked with those who are unhoused, suffer from severe mental illness, and adolescents struggling with emotional expression. His clinical experiences include working at the Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Long Beach and Orange County, as well as the Valley Star MLK Crisis Residential Treatment Program.
