About Me

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with approximately three years of experience working with individuals, families, teens, and adults across a range of diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and rooted in creating a safe and collaborative space for healing and growth. My clinical training began at the California Lutheran University Community Counseling Center, where I worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational challenges. I then gained specialized experience at Monte Nido & Affiliates, where I provided therapeutic support to adolescent girls in a residential setting for eating disorder treatment. This role deepened my understanding of body image issues, disordered eating, and the unique challenges faced by teens in recovery. In addition, I served as a behavioral interventionist with Addison Behavioral Resources, supporting young children on the autism spectrum. This work allowed me to integrate behavioral strategies with emotional support, and strengthened my ability to connect with children and families in meaningful, developmentally appropriate ways. I am passionate about tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and fostering a space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered in their journey.

Goals

Provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Help clients build self-awareness and emotional insight to better understand themselves and create lasting change. Support the development of healthy coping strategies for navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Foster meaningful communication and connection within families, couples, and peer relationships. Offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client’s unique identity, values, and lived experience
