About Me

Michael specializes in providing a holistic therapeutic approach to help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the world around them to improve their overall well-being. Michael has worked with a diverse population and has a high level of cultural competency. Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, gestalt, mindfulness and solution focused therapies, Michael has worked with client experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, sexual issues, relationship issues, and trauma. Michael also specializes in working with people who desire spiritual integration. With 20 years of experience working in various ministerial roles, Michael has a deep understanding of the role that faith plays in lives of many people and is skilled at helping clients of all faith backgrounds integrate their unique spiritual worldview in the therapeutic process. Michael’s clinical experience includes working with adults at Emmaus Road Counseling Center in Santa Ana, providing spiritually integrated psychotherapy to a diverse client population.
