Brianne Flexen is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has over 16 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric setting ranging from pediatric and adult inpatient care to community mental health crisis stabilization, substance abuse treatment, and eating disorders. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University with Presidents Honors. Immediately she began her Masters program at University of California, Los Angeles. While attending Graduate School, she was the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at an inpatient psychiatric hospital.
Her focus is on the treatment of ADHD, anxiety/ mood disorders, depression, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief psychotherapeutic intervention for adolescents 12-17 and adults ages 18-65.
I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment.
